Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables for Cargo product drawings and models. This role requires expertise in drafting, drafting checks, and a proactive approach towards training and implementing Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles. He will be involved in coaching and reviewing the work of junior professionals, as well as actively participating in structural product concept design and detail design reviews.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality standards for Cargo product drawings and models.
- Conduct drafting and drafting checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide training and awareness of DFMA principles to team members.
- Coach and review the work of junior engineers.
- Drive structural product concept design and detail design.
- Perform modeling and drafting using NX 1953.
- Interpret technical engineering drawings and sketches, with a strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of materials and processes.
- Understand manufacturing, inspection processes, and construction methods.
- Manage project schedules and costs, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) and first pass yield (FPY).
- Utilize NX and PLM tools such as Teamcenter Engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with business units in the USA.
- Demonstrate willingness to work in aggressive schedules without compromising attention to detail and quality.
- Apply CORE tools effectively in regular work processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in relevant area.
- Proficiency in NX 1953 and PLM tools like Teamcenter Engineering.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and Drafting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and costs effectively.
- Prior experience in coaching and mentoring junior professionals.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under aggressive schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASME Y14.5 GDTP Technologist/Senior level certification
