The role

As a Warehouse and Pollution Control Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. 

Day-to-day, you’ll work within a warehouse environment and be a point of call for pollution incidents that occur onsite.

• Undertake general warehouse operations. Such as organising deliveries, audits, inventory management, and keeping warehouse systems accurate and up to date.
• Act as Pollution Control Officer when required. Including reviewing the Site Spillage Plan on an annual basis.
• You will be called to onsite spillages to assess environmental damage and complete necessary paperwork.
• Liaising confidently with customers.

This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full, 39 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Cranwell.

Essential experience of the Warehouse and Pollution Control Operative

• Experience working within a warehouse environment.
• Experience within supply chain
• Experience within Pollution control is advantageous, but not essential.

Qualifications for the Warehouse and Pollution Control Operative

• Practical Pollution Prevention Training (PPPT) is advantageous, but we will provide relevant training if not held.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
