As a Junior Rail Designer on our team in Los Angeles, you’ll have the opportunity to support the design and engineering of important transit projects so we can shape lasting solutions for the future. As a team member supporting various large-scale transportation projects, you’ll also prepare planning documents, create safety and security assessments, and conduct system safety evaluations.
You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant engineering techniques, data collection and so much more.

Here’s What You’ll Need
The base salary range for this position is $62,700 to $97,875. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s What You’ll Need
- Associates or Bachelor of Science degree
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- A strong interest in learning rail engineering
- Working knowledge of MicroStation
- A strong background in transportation engineering
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
