Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pilot Admissions Counselor to join our team. The Pilot Admissions Counselor will play a key role in assisting individuals interested in pursuing careers as pilots in navigating the admissions process for flight training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations, licensing requirements, and flight training pathways, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized guidance and support to individuals interested in becoming pilots, helping them understand the admissions requirements, procedures, and timelines for flight training programs.
• Counsel to students and there parents about the training courses and convert lead into admissions.
• Assess individuals' qualifications, skills, and career aspirations to determine their suitability for pilot training programs and recommend appropriate pathways.
• Assist individuals in researching and selecting suitable flight training programs, considering factors such as accreditation, curriculum, cost, location, and aircraft fleet.
• Offer information and advice on various aspects of pilot training, including ground school, flight instruction, simulator training, aircraft types, and certification options.
• Guide individuals through the application process for flight training programs, including completing application forms, gathering required documents (e.g., pilot logbook, medical certificate), and meeting admissions deadlines.
• Stay informed about changes in aviation regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards related to flight training and pilot licensure.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, application statuses, and admissions outcomes in accordance with confidentiality and privacy policies.
• Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and informational sessions on topics related to pilot training admissions for prospective students, aviation enthusiasts, and their families.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Previous experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or aviation education, with specific experience in pilot training admissions preferred.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations, licensing requirements, and flight training pathways for various types of pilot certificates and ratings.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and provide support to prospective students and their families.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, recruitment events, and industry conferences.
