Solution Engineer, Specialist

Purpose of the role:

The Solution Designer provides customers with professional, timely, accurate and effective proposals to provide SITA services. The Solution Designer drives new business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of information technologies and of the air transport industry. The role produces cost effective, deliverable solutions to customers, based on a detailed pre-sales review of customer requirements, strong product knowledge and applicable professional services. The commercial goals are to increase the overall customer satisfaction, to expand new business revenue, and to promote continuing revenue retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Assignment: Identify and assign appropriate solutions to meet client requirements for airport projects across Europe. Work closely with Account Managers/Directors to develop sales and accounts development strategies;

Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.

Proposal Development: Utilize technical qualifications to develop comprehensive proposals tailored to specific project needs.

Business Case Development: Create and refine business cases to demonstrate the value proposition of proposed solutions to clients.

Cloud Understanding: Leverage expertise in cloud technologies to design and implement robust and scalable solutions.

Technical Communication: Articulate technical requirements and concepts to non-technical teams, facilitating understanding and collaboration across departments.

Feedback Collection and Communication: Gather feedback from stakeholders and relay it to relevant teams to inform solution refinement and project enhancements.

Attention to Detail: Meticulously analyze and address customer requirements, ensuring that solutions meet and exceed expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• This role is referring to candidates with previous or current proven track record in the airport industry with experience in solution design or business development with IT background.
• Good understanding of Azure clouding.
• Ability to develop and articulate compelling business cases to drive project success and ensure customer’s satisfaction.
• Sufficient communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem solving abilities to identify and address challenges effectively.
•  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or relevant field.
