As a Project Support Officer in the Cyber Security Division, you will support the successful delivery of innovative projects, supplying safety through technology to provide our customers with more efficient, safe and secure products and solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Joining an established support team, you will provide support to Project Managers and wider Integrated Project Teams (IPTs). Due to the diversity of activities you will be involved with, this role provides an excellent opportunity for someone early in a Project Management career to gain invaluable experience and development.
The role will be a mixture of home based and onsite.
What You’ll Do As a Project Support Officer
As a Project Support Officer, you demonstrate an agile mind-set to actively and positively influence the team’s performance through collaboration and empowerment of individuals. You will be responsible for carrying out any necessary activities necessary to support the successful delivery of projects, through all stages of the lifecycle in accordance with Leonardo policies and processes.

What You’ll Do As a Project Support Officer

You will support Project Managers in
- developing and maintaining the project plan, respecting budget and contractual obligations and constraints
- monitoring project performance and effectively communicating any areas of concern
- the correct use of tools, application of processes and promotion of project management best practice
- adherence to project governance through all lifecycles of the project
- collaborating effectively with all support functions to efficiently manage and adhere to Leonardo policies and processes
- Identify areas of improvement, implement and champion change
What We Need From You
You enjoy performing in a diverse role, working in a dynamic environment effectively communicating across numerous stakeholers.
You are able to demonstrate
- Experience of working collaboratively within diverse project teams
- Effective communication with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to self-organise and work autonomously
- High competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MSP & Visio)
- Experience of SAP and core transactions used in planning and project management
- Experience working with large data sets, to analyse, identify and correct issues
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Project Management qualifications
- Planning skills and qualifications such as MSP or P6
