Job Description Summary The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting intelligence analysis and providing operational support to the Global Security Program’s operations, procedures, and processes.

In this role, you will conduct core intelligence and risk analysis that meet business needs and contribute to overall strategic outcomes for GE Aerospace while developing a functional understanding in intelligence tradecraft, threat analysis, global risk assessments. While not a complete list, initial areas of focus will be protective intelligence, insider threat assessment/mitigation, travel risk assessments, and crisis management response/support. Essential Responsibilities

  • Conducts day-to-day tasks associated with the Intelligence Program, threat analysis, global risk assessment, protective intelligence, Global Security operations, and special assignments; will also support tasks and projects assigned to the broader Global Security team.
  • Prepares and presents reports, intelligence products, and dispatches other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.
  • Gathers, researches, analyzes, and evaluates information and statistical data from varied sources to identify trends and understand office operations.
  • Applies analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, analyze, and resolve issues or problems of an operational, procedural, or factual nature to support Global Security operations.
  • Critically analyzes information and documentation from varied sources to identify trends, potential threats, and changes to the operating environment.
  • Presents information both orally and in writing; shares data collected with executive management, supervisors and employees; facilitates discussion to solicit opinions; and resolves problems and conflicts when possible.
  • Adheres to standard analytic tradecraft for GE Aerospace.
  • Follows relevant policies and standard work associated with Intelligence production, threat analysis, and global risk assessments.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • May lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as a demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a challenging, high-stress environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years related experience)
  • Presents a professional demeanor and demonstrates excellent speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Travel is required for this position, both domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

A t least one year of experience in the US Government 0132 job series or 1 year experience as Intelligence Analyst in a DoD setting

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
