Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Deburr Specialist with 2-5 years’ experience. This is a Contract to Direct opportunity with an Electronics company in Chatsworth, CA.
 Salary: $22.00 HR
The Deburr Specialist/ Part Finisher is responsible for ensuring that the material/parts are completed to blueprint and
meet all quality standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs finishing duties in accordance with drawings, travelers and manufacturing procedures.
• Deburrs and hand finishes parts per required specifications by using established procedures, machines, and
tooling.
• Operates drills, vertical/horizontal cut off saw, basic deburr and hand finish tools.
• Distributes maintenance supplies in the facility.
• Prepares the Machine Shop Schedule for Planner.
• Confirms the status of closed/open assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• 2 - 5 years of metal hand finishing or deburring experience
• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
• Completion of technical school a plus
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs (Over 25 lbs with assistance).
• Good hand and eye dexterity
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be a local candidate
