Position Summary:

With general direction from the Director of Quality, designs and delivers regulatory and company training to Maintenance Technical Stores/Supply Clerks, Aircraft Cleaners, and Service Providers for both new and current employees.

Job Functions

  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
  • Designs and facilitates Technical Stores/Supply Clerk and Aircraft Cleaner training, and fuel training to Service Providers.
  • Assists in the development of new training initiatives and curriculums, including web-based e-learning.
  • Prepares and updates training materials for both classroom and field training.
  • Acts as liaison with department staff, Maintenance, Service Provider management, and regulators/auditors.
  • Evaluates employee performance in training programs and makes recommendations to agent/student and manager.
  • Monitors and evaluates training procedures followed by maintenance and fueling providers.
  • Maintains curriculums in accordance with IATA, CFR 49, OSHA, FAR, DOT, and EPA.
  • Assists with obtaining and analyzing data to continuously improve the training curriculum.
  • Coordinates with local Managers and Supervisors to ensure training concurrency of station personnel.
  • Conducts GSE training and assists with performance audits.

Required Competencies

  • High level of judgment and initiative in dealing with employee issues and irregular operations.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in education or similar major - OR - one-year prior teaching or training experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (including MS Word & PowerPoint, Excel, Access), Internet courseware development tools, and e-mail.
  • Excellent stand-up presentation skills.

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Travel

  • Corporate office; may be eligible for hybrid work.
  • Classrooms/Offices/Stations.
  • Moderate level of activity, significant walking/standing/movement required.
  • Some travel required (50%).
