For our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam, we are currently seeking to recruit a Promotion and Events Manager for our Marketing team in Commercial Aviation.
Promotion & Events Manager
Purpose of the Role:
As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you will be responsible for leading promotional activities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA), with the aim of increasing Embraer’s brand awareness and perception, and supporting regional sales activities. The Promotion and Events Manager will report to the Marketing Director.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Supporting development of the regional promotion and marketing strategy;
- Planning and execution of high-profile, C-level customer events as well as company’s management and team’s participation for Trade Shows, Exhibitions and Conferences.
- Managing the stock of promotional materials, including supplier management and creative development of new items;
- Managing the sponsorship and the trade organization membership processes;
- Researching, analyzing and providing recommendation as to any initiative that would strengthen brand awareness in the region, focusing on increasing sales;
- Collaborate with internal teams, appointed agencies, suppliers, and vendors to deliver the projects according to the strategic plans;
- Coordinating and supporting the regional sales and marketing team’s presence in social media;
- Managing the promo marketing budget for the region;
- Looking after anti-corruption, ethics, compliance policies application and administrative processes in all marketing activities.
Profile of the Suitable Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred focus on Business, Marketing or Communication;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in aviation business is a plus,
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
- Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills, Dutch and/or Portuguese is an additional benefit;
- Experience in executing B2B/B2C events, hospitality activities, exposition stands etc.
- Experience in executing sponsorship processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working in a multi cultural and dynamic environment;
- A real team-player with hands-on mindset, proactive and creative drive and resilient to challenges;
- Excellent project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and keep control on budget and internal processes;
- Effective administrative and process skills;
- Strong attention to detail, flexible, able to adapt easily to a change;
- Availability for regular monthly (sometimes intense) travel
- Knowledge and experience in creative programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.
