The role
As a Senior Commercial Application Analyst you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, which supplies and operates all IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance Shared Services (ITSM). We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships which support delivery to our customers.
Day-to-day, you will support Remedy and ITSM tools in relation to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, Digital Workplace Catalogue, Service Level Management, CMDB/Asset Management and Smart Reporting business solutions.
- Responsible for Solution Roadmaps and hosting quarterly Communities of Practise.
- Hosting both weekly calls and quarterly Service Reviews with 3rd parties.
- Responsible for ensuring all technical information, processes and procedures are effectively documented and are kept up to date.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is fully remote.

Essential experience of the Senior Commercial Application Analyst
- Experience of managing and delivering technical and functional support and/or solutions for enterprise applications, including ITIL v3 or v4 foundation.
- Experience as a Remedy Administrator or similar with BMC Remedy configuration and development, with a thorough understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management concepts.
- Experience administering/configuring BMC Remedy ITSM 20.02+ (on prem).
- Hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of software applications, infrastructure/server administration, migrating code and data into Remedy environments and integrating other systems with BMC Remedy.
- Troubleshooting experience in working with product vendors and customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and prioritisation skills.
