With the production of the Geared Turbo Fan product line ramping up, Pratt & Whitney needs to ensure that legacy engine programs, as well as new engine programs, are able to meet customer demand with a robust supply base of exceptional quality.
The Global Supply Chain team is looking for a motivated, high energy leader to support the Engine Programs Externals Component Integrated Project Team (CIPT) in ensuring supplier capacity that meets engine and spares production demand. This individual will be part of the Operational Excellence (OpX) group. This leader will work with Global Supply Chain purchasing, global sourcing, quality, engineering, operations, and suppliers in assuring all aspects of readiness are achieved for existing products.
What You Will Do:
- Providing industrial planning - structure, framework and timing on sourcing and manufacturing decisions
- Prioritize and complete production readiness assessments
- Assess capacity at producers across designated Engine Programs
- Develop, track and close action items to increase capacity and capability at suppliers
- Handle single points of failure and material changes that will impact sourcing decisions
- Ensure transition plans are properly supported to ensure incumbents can deliver until new sources are actually delivering parts at production ramp rates
- Identify risks to the supplier production ramp, build mitigation plans, and drive actions to closure
- Responsible as the Operations Lead to the CIPT Leader
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or related field and 10 years of experience in supply chain or related field; OR an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications we prefer:
- Manufacturing, Engineering, Project, or Program management experience
- Detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills
- Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
- Understands strategic and business implications and works to provide the best solutions
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications and SAP

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
