To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Compensation Analyst. The primary responsibility of the position is to review and approve compensation changes, conduct audits on various business processes, and respond to inquiries from employees. The person in this position will become knowledgeable of compensation details specified in our collective bargaining agreements and company policy. This position will report to the Manager, HRIS Administration & Compensation.
Essential Duties:
Conduct various weekly and monthly audits and enter corrections as required
Research and resolve compensation questions from employees and managers
Prepare and upload documents for various pay updates
Review and approve compensation changes and bonus payments per policy
Assist with business process configuration changes
Document processes and workflows
Research and compare compensation trends
Ensure confidentiality with sensitive compensation and/or financial data
Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Ad-hoc projects as required
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong aptitude for research, analysis, and data management
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills
Previous experience as a compensation analyst or similar role
Possess the ability to influence and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to set priorities and effectively manage multiple assignments in a flexible environment
Work independently while exercising proper judgment, and sound decision making

Starting Rate:
$49,500.00/Annual Salary - 54,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
