An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Surface Restoration Team to join the Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility in Derby.
The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 27,000m2, with ~550 employees, and operational for 20hrs a day, 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility, with capability to maintain all modern Trent engines, EOS is fundamental to the future success of Civil Aerospace.
In this role, you will be responsible for surface restoration of a variety of parts and carry out spray painting, masking, filling, and applying polysulphide. It is essential that you have a driving licence as you will be visiting other Rolls-Royce sites.

What you will be doing:
You will mask and paint spray a variety of aerospace components, including nose cones, fairings, shrouds, and various cases as well as the bonding of fan tracks, acoustic panels, and the repairing of them, You will also:
Use various paint preparation techniques including abrasive blasting and chemical cleaning.
Follow aerospace manufacturing procedures and technical engineering instructions / drawings.
Use a range of hand skills for bonding materials.

Experience of masking and paint spraying by hand of aerospace or automotive components would be advantageous.
Knowledge of paint preparation techniques including abrasive blasting and chemical cleaning would be beneficial.
Able to interpret technical engineering instructions and drawings with a working knowledge of aerospace manufacturing procedures.
High attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity to mask components to a high standard.
Able to work as part of a team and have a drive to succeed in delivering to tight timescales.
Customer, Quality and Delivery focused.
Basic computer literacy and driving licence.
