Purpose of Position
The Safety Assurance Manager is responsible for both being a primary contact, and collaborating with senior leaders at key Approved Operators to oversee the Safety Culture while operating in support of NetJets Owners and Guests.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Build a relationship of trust and support with Senior Operations, Maintenance and Leadership team members
- Build a thorough understanding of organizational structure and operations as it relates to operational control and safety of flight
- Develop, monitor and report on key safety metrics (e.g., fleet trends, monthly safety reporting)
- Support NetJets related investigations
- Support EJM Audits in accordance with CVRM
- Analyze the impact of proposed or ongoing organizational or operational changes to NJ/EJM
- Develop or recommend process improvements that enhance safety

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other (KSAOs)
- 4+ years in an aviation management position (maintenance, dispatch, scheduling, in-flight), or serve as a line pilot, with a certified air carrier (91K, 135 or 121)
- Working knowledge of on-demand or fractional aviation program’s operations, regulations, FAA specifications and technical requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage multiple work groups and projects
- Working knowledge of auditing principles, standards, and practices
- Experience with root-cause analysis and process development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
