What Will You Be Doing?
As the Manager, Corporate Security, you will develop and implement and measure security programs and procedures providing physical security of carrier facilities, assets, and personnel to include, but not limited to oversight of the daily security operations within the Denver Headquarters (HQ) facility.
Essential Functions
- Ensure that security systems and devices to include alarms, video cameras, access control systems, locks and gates are functioning properly and providing a secure environment.
- Develop, implement and maintain security policies, procedures and initiatives that align with Company, regulatory and overall compliance requirements.
- Conduct security risk assessments to identify potential risks and provide guidance and advice to site leadership to mitigate accordingly.
- Coordinate and communicate with HR, HQ operating groups, and IT to provide/restrict necessary controlled access via key and proximity cards.
- Monitor, observe and audit security measures to ensure compliance with requirements for access to the HQ building.
- Procure/contract with third party security vendors when needed to provide additional physical security.
- Provide/procure executive personal security to include traveling when needed or requested.
- Provide a security response to support the main entrance during business hours when needed.
- Liaise, coordinate and communicate with multiple law enforcement, regulatory entities and private security contractors.
- Perform designated security role within the HQ facility during an emergency response incident/accident.
Other Functions
- Support the Director in providing guidance regarding security matters.
- Monitor, observe and audit security procedures to ensure compliance.
- Lead or participate in investigations related to internal/external fraud.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications
- Must possess prior civilian or military law enforcement experience
- Operational familiarity and understanding of physical security principles required
- Bachelor’s degree or related security management experience required; Master’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of security management required
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to interface with various law enforcement agencies, government regulatory entities and company departments
- Thorough knowledge of the operational requirements of an airline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills

Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled with some travel and on-call requirements.
