We are now looking for REGIONAL MANAGER to join our Hong Kong office! This role carries overall accountability for our operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines. The regional manager will be responsible for developing sales and distribution strategies, as well as building and managing relationships with agents and acting as an Account Manager for selected accounts. Significant part of the role will involve understanding local market trends and customer behaviors impacting distribution and provide hands on support for key partners. Regional manager is responsible for a range of key tasks that are critical to the success of our operations. You will make strategic decisions with sharp commercial focus and understanding of ROI, as well as manage the revenue, costs, and budgeting for the local unit. Additionally, you will manage sales, marketing, and distribution in all areas. In addition to this, the main responsibilities include: Overall responsibility for building, maintaining and improving Finnair’s sales, marketing & distribution activities in the local market. Accountable for the local unit organization. Act as main point of contact to proactively address changing market conditions that supports decision makings and provide views in cooperation with other departments. Giving input to, maintaining and executing on Finnair’s distribution channel mix in local unit for optimal revenue generation and market presence. This includes both direct and indirect channels responsibilities. Responsible for taking an active role in the Finnair irregularity situation in the local operations. Local Government and Airport authority relations. Our expectations: Strong business knowledge and tactical approach in Sales management. Strategic thinking, both short and long term. Good leadership, teamwork, communication and project management skills. Sound analytical skills, identify trends, develop and implement relevant action plans. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Fluent in English and Cantonese. As a person we are looking for someone result driven and able to adapt to frequent changes. Being a flat, cross-functional organization, positive approach and “can do” attitude are vital to succeed . We wish you have a minimum 10 years of work experience in sales and distribution development roles as well as a proven track record with references. Former experience with airlines and/or travel industry is seen as an advantage.
