You will be responsible for the issue of Rolls-Royce site ID passes. This is to include employees, embedded contractors, & customers of Rolls-Royce. This involves entering data into a database, chasing information missing on applications and responding to telephone and email enquiries. Working closely with the Security team and helping with access control questions, investigations, access logs of personnel, auditing of the system & users, ordering of pass peripherals, reporting any issues with the access control software & hardware and general queries.

What you will be doing:
You will be producing site ID access badges within given time frames, as well as managing short notice requests
- Photographing applicants and checking standards of photographs if submitted electronically for use on site ID passes.
- Applying extensions and additional access controls to site ID passes.
- Audit checks on site ID passes to ensure compliant use of access in line with our site and MoD policy.
- Monitoring stock and ordering of pass peripherals.
- Handling access queries by displaying professional and effective communication via email, telephone and in person.
- Takes responsibility for completing administrative tasks to a high standard by organising own workload and prioritising accordingly.
- The ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy administrative environment using IT systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a confident manner to be able to think quickly, react appropriately with all stakeholders in a potentially challenging environment, while working in line with the Rolls-Royce values.

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience of security systems
- Previous experience of managing site ID passes and access control.
- Microsoft office proficient
- Customer Service and admin experience

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
