DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV 7.5T Home Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
• Working in a two person team on a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday starting at 0600 from our Exeter RDC.
• Working alongside a drivers mate carrying out home delivery's on behalf of our client with Installation of white goods with heavy lifting and manual handling involved .
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C) or 7.5T (C1) , Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will need to be physically fit as heavy lifting and installation of white goods will be needed .
