We are seeking a
Manufacturing Support Team Member at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA to work in the Handling and Transportation group to provide support for the handling and transportation of D5 missile motors and D5 reentry systems. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating wharf operations.
In This Dynamic Role You Will:
- Supervise hourly personnel in the performance of reentry systems handling and transportation.
- Review, analyze, and interpret procedural documentation and production schedules.
- Interface daily with various Strategic Weapon Facility Atlantic organizations both Government and LM in the normal accomplishment of duties.
This position requires flexibility in work schedule to cover various shift times.
To be considered, you will need the ability to qualify and maintain eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance and for the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) and Radiological Controls Program (RADCON).
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Project Management or related degree focus from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
- Current active US Security clearance.
- Experienced in leadership, ordnance handling, or transportation Operations.
- Demonstrate your ability to cultivate effective working relationships.
- Experience in D5 Ordnance handling and transportation operations.
- Ability to promote change from and optimistic point of view.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other organizations, contractors, and Navy customers.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with customers and other personnel.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $58,200 - $111,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
