Job Purpose
Identify, manage, and optimize key performance indicators focusing on the airline's operational efficiency, punctuality, disruption costs, and customer satisfaction metrics, developing and implementing innovative strategies and technological advancements, adhering to strict regulatory standards and internal benchmarks, with the ultimate goal of enhancing overall service quality and achieving superior operational performance in line with robustness project goals.
Main Accountabilities
- Ensure complex issues are resolved promptly and effectively, minimizing impact on operations.
- Achieve SENTINEL implementation phases within the timelines and performance KPIs.
- Guarantee that the decision on the future tool is made in a way that meets and coordinates its implementation.
- Achieve project goals within the set timelines and budgets, ensuring successful completion and implementation.
- Ensure implementation of identified improvements across all stakeholders.
- Continuously improve operational performance and customer satisfaction by identifying and addressing the areas that require improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, enhancing communication and collaboration.
- Provide clear, concise, actionable information that aids strategic decision-making and operational adjustments.
- Make the department managed a better place to work.
- Streamline the decision-making process and ensure that all team members are focused on achieving key objectives efficiently.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Support resolutions of complex issues, specifically IT, providing expertise and guidance to navigate challenges effectively.
- Define and Manage SENTINEL (IOCC Optimization Tools) development and its further improvements in line with Robustness project objectives and priorities.
- Ensure AIMS RFI is finalized and coordinate further developments.
- Coordinate robust project activities within line with the project manager, ensuring that projects are executed according to plan and objectives are met.
- Lead post-mortem reviews following operational disruptions to analyze root causes, extract key insights, and propose and develop strategies for preventing future occurrences, driving continuous improvement and enhanced operational resilience.

- Continuous interaction with key internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining effective relationships.
- Report bi-weekly to the Chief Operation Officer and Deputy, delivering insights and updates on project progress and performance indicators.
- Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork, and communication with the rest of the Company.
- Facilitate and prepare for meetings, ensuring all participants are aligned and focused on achieving project milestones.
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.
Main Relationships
- OCC (Operations Control Centre): Direct impact on daily operations, to improve operational efficiency and response to disruptions.
- Maintenance: Affects punctuality and regularity, coordinates actions that enhance aircraft readiness and minimize delays.
- Customer and Ground Operations: Influences customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score), to ensure smooth operations that directly affect customer experience.
- Network and Scheduling: ensuring robustness from the scheduling phase.
- IT OPS and Airline 4.0: Ensuring priorities and resources are set.
- Customers department: to align priorities and Customer Response coordination.
- Other OPS Departments: aligning priorities to guarantee operational performance delivery.
- Transformation: coordinate the Robustness project with the Transformation Team.
- Finance: As part of budget management and cost control, ensuring effective administration of the project budget and cost-effective operations.
- Legal: Compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring operational decisions and innovations comply with legal standards.
Education
- Degree in Aeronautical or Airport Management.
- Desirable complementary studies in technical integration or project management.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience within the aviation industry is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. These skills are important for data analysis, reporting, and presenting strategic insights to senior management.
- Operational knowledge to ensure the accurate development of alerts and systems within SENTINEL.

- Proven experience in managing technical teams and projects demonstrates the ability to lead, coordinate, and optimize team performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, addressing technical issues, and implementing improvements.
- Good negotiation skills.
