A fast paced and self driven project engineering intern role, we are looking for someone who's self driven and accountable. This role includes working with an inter-discipline engineering team, responsibilities for the day to day execution on the design of a helicopter Flight Control Computer. The role includes planning, coordination, supporting internal and external customer reviews, requirements development, and verification testing, while knocking down the obstacles that challenge a fast paced electronics development program. You will be working on the cutting edge of multi core vehicle control computers, responsible for all of the flight critical operations of military helicopters. A self driven, accountable, motivated, out the box thinker should describe your approach to working with the team, and helping to meet our milestones to delight our customer.

What You Will Do:
- Assist with entry and tracking of Standard Work closure and preparation for Gate Reviews
- Create and maintain project schedules
- Track action items and assist in driving issues to closure
- Support closure of hardware production issues and participate in RCCA activities
- Process Engineering Changes, Deviations and maintain Work Package Instructions (WPI’s) as necessary
- Participate in lab testing of Hardware and Software
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Software, Systems engineering disciplines.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
