Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Product & process quality assurance & control for Calibration , Qualifications with global & cross functional teams including NABL Auditors and experts.
- Lead RCCAs for nonconformance on Calibration systems.
- Owning KPI’s for Calibration e.g Customer Complains, OTDs, NCs etc.
- Driving process & product improvement with inclusive approach along with CFT through RCA, 8D , Lean , VSM , 5S , kaizens , Knowledge sharing , Read across etc.
- Drive continuous improvement in Quality through first pass yield, Lean & Six Sigma techniques
- Drive PFMEA, RCA, APQP, PQA, SPC, quality elements for quality function.
- Customer focus with on time response, RCA’s, Escape reduction, Customer satisfaction improvements.
- Support internal customers as and when required.
- Improve shop floor on building awareness on instrument handlings.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum Education: Diploma in Mechanical
- Hands-on experience in problem solving, RCA , QMS management , Calibration and ISO17025 audits. Work Experience: 2 to 5 years’ experience in Quality with experience in Calibration, & KPI’s (On-time calibrations, Supplier Calibrations, Supplier’s rejection etc.)
- Technical:
- Strong technical background and hands on experience in calibration processes, handling precision measurements, CMM, Micrometers, profile projectors etc.
- Candidate shall be highly energetic and passionate with positive attitude. He shall be able to explain clearly business drivers and organizational objectives to team
- Strong knowledge of repeatability and reproducibility
- Certified GE Aviation Quality Excellence Program (QEP, Level I) will be added advantage
- Hands-on experience in risk assessment, quality system development, product & process audits.
- Sound knowledge in ISO 9001 / ISO17025 QMS Requirements and applications.
- Ability to navigate through matrix organization to achieve common goals.
- Ability to manage conflicts and effectively collaborate for getting results
- Ability to strike appropriate balance between agility and discipline
- Ability to take decisions on the tasks in compliance to Customer’s requirements.
- Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters
- Good understanding of Environment Health & Safety Regulations and safe work practices
