Document Reader Process Engineer
Cuernavaca, Morelos (Onsite)
Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Document Reader Process Engineer who will be responsible to optimize and improve the efficiency of the manufacturing processes, ensure the smooth functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, coordinate process improvement projects and manage the overall quality of the manufactured products.
In this position, you will also be responsible for the industrialization of new product and implementation of Engineering Change Notice along with corporate New Product Introduction (NPI) as well as the analysis for any quality complaint for the products manufactured.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issue encountered during production processes.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
- Work with NPI for qualification of new product, material and processes.
- Implement Engineering Change Notice released by R&D / NPI and manage the change in the site.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, any related area (Industrial, Chemistry, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years working experience in the manufacturing industry – familiar with industrialization process.
- Knowledge of quality management systems.
- Interpersonal skills to coordinate subjects between different areas outside the NPI & Compliance team.
- Familiarity and experience with Change management systems
- Fluency and a proficient level of business English.
