Position Overview:
C-17 Field Operations team is currently looking for an
Experienced Support Equipment Technician to join with their team in
Hindon, India.
Position Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have knowledge and deep understanding of various Support Equipment incorporated in the operation and maintenance of Heavy Transport Military Aircraft.
- Will be responsible for performing periodic maintenance / fault isolation/ troubleshooting on Aerospace Ground Equipment, Material Handling Equipment and Engine Handling Peculiar Support Equipment used on C17 Aircraft.
- Will coordinate, monitor and report calibration and proof loading requirements, plan the maintenance schedule and provision parts required for the Support Equipment held with customer and Boeing Custody within the country
- Selected candidate will work closely with SE lead / SE Maintenance Manager and other team members of C17 Field Services. Individual will develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on-going projects.

- Employment will be subject to the candidate’s ability to obtain a security clearance from Indian security agencies/ IAF.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Diploma/ITI/ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/ Automobile/Mechanical Engineering is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining Aerospace Ground Equipment and Material Handling Equipment preferably at Airport / Airlines/ Military Aviation Establishments / Manufacturing Plants.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface customers’ requirements.
- Working knowledge on Computer is essential
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Be able to demonstrate highly innovative and creative problem-solving skills. Teamwork is important in this position.
- Must be able to think proactively and work collaboratively with every team member.
- Demonstrate strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude and highest ethics.
- Past experience, demonstrated skills and working knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting of various Support Equipment like Ground Generator Sets (GPU), Ground Air-conditioning Units, Jet Starter, Ground Hydraulic Carts, Nitrogen Generators Self-propelled Ariel lifts, Hydraulic working platforms is desired.
- Capability to review schematic and electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Familiarization of various Test Equipment’s used on the Aircrafts during maintenance. Be a self-starter who is not afraid to proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
- Possess Valid LMV license. HMV license is desirable.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 4 years' related work experience.
