About the team you are joining
The Digital Identity team is part of the Information and Data
division, and is responsible for the definition and execution of the overall
Digital Identity strategy. This includes advocacy, standard setting, and
solutions development as well as platform ownership of implemented solutions, with
areas of application that span across the entire airline value chain. The
current focus is on passengers (B2C) and distribution (B2B) use cases, but activities
will soon expand towards cargo operations and aviation security. You will be
reporting to the Digital Identity Lead and drive the B2B stream.
What your day would be like
You will initially support the development and launch of B2B
or Organizational Digital Identity solutions starting with a focus on travel
agencies.
As platform owner you will lead the developments already
planned and define the technology roadmap drawing inputs from operations, the
business teams, technology, and regulatory trends.
As subject matter expert on Organizational Digital Identity you
will contribute to advocacy and standard setting activities where and when
applicable.
To achieve these, you will:
Lead PoCs and pilots from scoping to implementation, being both activator and facilitator agent.
Engage and coordinate with external stakeholders in operational and technical leadership positions to win over their support.
Collaborate with IATA commercial and operational business teams to support the definition of value propositions, go to market strategy, launch activities and customer support.
Act as product owner for platform developments taking responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the delivery.
Support implementations demonstrating consistency and discipline.
Stay abreast of technology, industry, and regulatory evolutions around Organizational Digital Identity.
Provide input in the overarching IATA Digital Identity strategy.
Integrate business roadmaps to feed the platform roadmap.
Maintain the Organizational Digital Identity platform roadmap balancing focus and adaptability.
Develop business cases and project briefs.
Write or contribute to Business Requirement Document with attention for critical details.
Take part in procurement and vendor management activities to develop positive partnerships.
Contribute to IATA technical standards development and maintenance.
Collaborate with IATA’s country and regional managers to support advocacy where applicable.
We would love to hear from you if you have
University degree in Computer Science, IT security or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of experience in platform and or product
ownership of IT software including development, pilot and rollout, with proven experience in implementation of decentralized Digital Identity solutions at scale
Knowledge of organizational Digital Identity regulations
Knowledge of airline IT back-office systems
Strong communication skills including ability to explain
functional and strategic impact of technical choices.
A team player mindset in a multicultural working environment.
