The Opportunities
The E-7 Programs business provides and supports world class airborne early warning and control capability to Australian, UK, Korea and Turkish customers. We are
seeking a number of talented systems engineersinterested in working across multidisciplinary and multinational teams, developing exciting new technologies to maintain, train and enhance E-7 Programs.
Responsibilities
- Applying Systems Engineering to support the development of complex engineering solutions, including requirements definition, integration, verification, and validation
- Support successful completion of systems integration tasks and management of technical risk
- Coordinating with other design and specialty disciplines (e.g. software, hardware, safety, security and support system engineering) to ensure that your team's products are properly integrated into the solution and delivered in a way that meets the customer's needs
- Working with the broader project team to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within the quality, schedule and budgetary constraints of the project
- Collaboration across Boeing and industry to align BDA work methods with best practice
- Growth and development of junior team members through mentoring.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive manner.
Experience/Qualifications
- Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline
- An understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management with experience in Systems Engineering and/or systems integration in a complex project environment
- Experience in delivering/integrating systems within Defence project environments is desirable
- Experience in applying Model Based Systems Engineering including utilisation of digital systems engineering tools will be highly regarded
