GKN Aerospace names new Chief HR Officer

GKN Aerospace has announced that Zareena Brown will join the business as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on 15 March 2024. 

Zareena is currently Chief People Officer at International Distribution Services plc (formerly Royal Mail plc), and will bring more than 25 years’ experience in senior executive positions with Britvic, IHG Group and Hilton Hotels, among others.

GKN Aerospace’s parent company Melrose announced in May that it will transition to a pureplay listed Aerospace business. Zareena will therefore be appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer of Melrose Industries plc when she joins. Zareena has significant experience in CHRO roles within listed businesses and deep functional knowledge from multiple sectors, which will be invaluable as Melrose executes its growth plan in the years ahead.
