Quickstep began as a family business in Perth in 2001.
At an early stage, we developed an innovative method of carbon fibre composite parts production, called ‘Qure’. This meant lighter, premium-quality components – and faster, cost-effective production.
Innovation remains at the core of Quickstep. We are now a highly accredited and globally recognised leader in advanced parts manufacturing and processes for multiple sectors:
- capable of almost all facets of composite manufacturing
- specialists in defence and commercial aerospace and other advanced applications
- 16,000 sqm state of the art composite manufacturing plant in Sydney
- MRO Facility at Melbourne Airport, Melbourne
- global R&D centre of excellence in Geelong, west of Melbourne
- business development and supply chain management presence in Texas
- a proven track record in safety, quality, reliability, service and delivery
Our customers demand quality, competency and solutions to complex issues. They expect a reliable supply of composite lightweight parts, manufacturing capabilities at scale, competitive pricing – and creative thinking.
They include the elite of the defence and commercial aerospace industries.
Quickstep is more than a composites company; we are a manufacturing process company.
Premium quality complex component development is at our core. We support this with proven processes and project management. We will advise on customer design plans, engineer tooling, and produce the prototype, through to final production.
Quickstep’s management team members have a wealth of experience across multiple industry sectors around the world and are committed to quality, professionalism and diversity.
Our exceptional engineering team has the tools and techniques to produce advanced composite components with both proprietary process technology and industry recognised process capabilities.
We have over 270 capable, enterprising and dedicated employees who are proud to be part of this unique and exciting business.
We value progressive thinking with vision, which is also why we partner with educational providers, including TAFE NSW, Deakin and Swinburne Universities, as well as a number of leading research institutions.
As we enter a new phase of calculated growth, we’re extending the capabilities of our workforce and committing to long-term sustainability, so we can continue to deliver with excellence.
