A new opportunity has arisen for a Sales, Power Generation like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities:
Actively promotes and sells sales products. Responsible for achieving sales revenue and profit targets of approved business plans.
Develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to grow sales revenue and profitability and customer satisfaction.
Plans and proposes business plans on sales, including revenue and profit planning and organization development, and executes after approval.
Makes business forecasts according to group and company requirements.
Supervises, supports and monitors sales activities of Service Partners with Sales Right (if applicable) under the company’s RRS distributorship to ensure company’s sales targets and other business objectives are met.
Provide market view on product requirements.
Ensures proper handling of incoming engine/genset orders including cost and profit calculation, order processing and invoicing. Coordinates in-company supports on logistics and customer delivery requirements.
Prepares cost and profit calculation sheet for sales orders and projects and ensures project implementation without unfavorable deviation. Supports project costing and profitability checks by Finance Dept.
Builds and further develops local independent application competencies. Ensures a high level of satisfactory application support to customers.
Prepares necessary reports and information updates according to the group’s and company’s routines.
Actively monitors, analyzes, reports and takes necessary actions on market environment changes affecting sales business, e.g. trend of industry and related legislations, issues related to customers and competitors which could cause an impact to the business, etc.
Monitors and reports potential risks of company especially matters with financial and compliance from a sales and marketing perspectives.
Supports RRS subsidiaries on global, regional or in-country projects related to sales and marketing.
