Job Overview And Responsibilities
IT Analyst will support Notifications Domain projects and Roadmap in all planning, execution and delivery efforts. Possesses subject matter expertise in the domain and has technical understanding of the domain's systems, capabilities, and respective technologies. Analyzes channel/customer /project requests and requirements and drives delivery based on multiple inputs and priorities.
Scrum Master
- Capture daily standup notes and updates on work in progress, hours completed & hours remaining on work in progress, ensure team members are making progress against committed deliverables, assist the team in removing obstacles.
- Manage work items in TFS, making sure they are updated to show correct estimate info, assigned to the iteration in which they will be worked, when they are planned to be deployed, when they close out, that anything unfinished is moved to the next iteration, manage Kanban board for scrum.
- Manage iteration planning and scheduling workload for the domain (iteration planning/team velocity/backlog grooming/ceremonies/retrospectives/running scrum sessions/etc.)
Release Coordination & Support
- Create RFCs, essentially setting up whole releases within the domain as needed.
- Document what the release is, what is involved, who will action it, etc.
- Complete administrative and coordination tasks surrounding release (i.e. paperwork, adding release invite to Outlook calendars, obtaining and providing bridge info, etc.)
- Close RFCs upon release completion.
- Ad hoc deployments must be managed for non-CSL applications
- For CSL services releases, requires compilation of planned release items to submit to CSL Release Manager, coordination with CSL Release Manager, compilation and review of release notes
- Help prepare, review and/or send out release notes after CSL and non-CSL releases.
Delivery Management
- Assist the domain Sr. Manager/leadership in developing high level Gantt/milestone charts, creating a view of a given enterprise project and the deliverables being built by the domains.
- Heavily engaged in managing commitments to deliverables, engaging with business partners and other Business and IT teams to track all deliverables.
- Sequence and assist in managing deliverable commitments and dependencies – not a lot of meeting minutes or status reports entailed, but more capturing information and updating TFS items with relevant updates and timing and keeping the domain team informed.
- Manage multiple deliverables, both short and long-term in a busy and aggressive environment, while staying flexible to dynamic needs and priorities
Business Analyst
- Ensure the development team gets adequate requirements and/or engage with requesting teams as appropriate to identify where requirements gaps need to be addressed.
- Coordinate with business partners to gather the information required in order to understand deliverables and associated project timelines.
- Author the technical requirements
- Maintain Wiki documentation and update the latest changes to the existing application
- Maintain Notifications knowledge base and Notifications catalog.
- Experience with Rest API and AWS cloud technologies
- Experience with Real time eventing
Subject Matter Expert
- Develop expertise in the domain and act as a consultant/reference to Business, other IT teams and channel partners regarding domain functionalities.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration and/or equivalent work experience, education, or training.
- 5+ years of Industry experience as System or Business analyst
- Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Looking for a strong level of nimbleness and agility in shifting between tasks and juggling changing priorities
- Capable of managing multiple priorities, tasks, projects, and deadlines.
- Ability to promote ideas and make sound decisions as a member of a team of technical experts.
- Analytical and problem-solving skill
- Understands and has been involved in Agile development techniques in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.
- Must be resourceful in this role, when a need or problem is identified, resource is expected to take initiative to help figure out how to get it filled or resolved or take responsibility him/herself to take appropriate action toward identifying a path forward.
- Proficient with TFS 2013 or higher
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, in formal and informal settings.
- Works well in collaborative and individual settings,
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and standard Office tools
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
- CSM - Certified Scrum Master (a plus)
- Familiarity with JIRA.
- Familiarity with ADO
- Airline experience
