Primary Job DutiesPrimary job duties for Specialist Drug & Alcohol include but are not limited to:
- Manage, process, and maintain pre-employment drug testing documents
- Coordinate pre-employment testing needs of new hires and internal transfers
- Manage, process, maintain ground security coordinator DOT clearances
- Notify appropriate individuals of positive test results
- Process record check requests from other airlines
- Ensure DOT testing and requirements are met for safety sensitive positions
- Assist in daily random testing if needed
- Assist with follow-up testing as needed
- Serve as a liaison for employees and/or management with questions regarding testing policies and procedures
- Assist with Drug and Alcohol internal auditing processes
- Assist with staffing the afterhours emergency phone line as needed
- Attend industry meetings as needed
- Other department duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or GED
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook, Crew Trac, UltiPro)
- Maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Present information, both written and orally, clearly and accurately
- Strong project and time management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Airline industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of DOT/FAA testing regulation experience preferred
- Some travel may be necessary
Physical and Other Requirements- Must possess valid driver license
- Office setting: Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.
