Job DescriptionThe Senior HR Business Partner position is responsible for developing and delivering an HR strategy aligned to the business objectives. The HRBP will provide HR Support for all central functions in the corporate office and ensures the quality of HR service delivery through effective collaboration with HR operations and centers of expertise. This position acts as an employee champion and change agent, ensuring legal compliance and striving to improve engagement at all levels in the organisation.
The position is responsible for helping to develop and implement a company’s human resource business plan, identifying solutions to resolve problems, and fostering a diverse workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential. The HRBP is also responsible for coaching leaders to enhance their organizational effectiveness and leadership capabilities.
Job Responsibilities - Establish and maintain collaborative, credible, trusting partnerships with individuals across a broad range of people and groups, both internal and external
- Adapt and implement HR, talent management, and operational solutions to address specific business imperatives to positively impact organizational performance
- Partner with business unit leaders in the process of absence management, performance management, team member engagement survey interpretation and action planning, and identification of training and development needs
- Manage the selection/recruitment processes and programs; partners with hiring managers to develop and execute a recruitment strategy which delivers the right candidates with the right skills and at the right time
- Coach and develop leaders and managers to improve leadership capabilities
- Maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication, and coaching of staff
- Cultivates an environment of engagement
- Lead and motivate direct reports to accomplish the goals of the operational plan, consistent with established service and safety procedures
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Perform leadership functions such as conducting annual reviews, making hiring decisions, and managing the performance of direct reports which includes mentoring and skill development
- Ensure employees receive company communications and necessary training including safety, customer service standards, Company values, etc.
- Ensure training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential
- Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations; participate in coaching, discipline and terminating exempt and non-exempt employees; work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Facilitate managers' successful navigation through HR processes and systems. Provide feedback on system effectiveness and requirements.
- Draw upon the wider HR team to deliver required expertise, resources, and services to drive customer/organizational initiatives
- Collect and analyze Human Resource data and develop recommendations / action plans to address issues
- Support the implementation of HR programs, communications, and initiatives
- Provide coaching to managers and employees regarding issues such as job design/success profiles, managing change, and team building processes
- Partner with managers and employees, as appropriate to translate company strategy into personal objectives and success outcomes; manage formal review process and coach leaders on informal review process; help managers cultivate and maintain a positive and inclusive working environment
- To promote and ensure policy and legal compliance with the support group to manage and mitigate organizational risk.

Job QualificationsEducation/Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience in progressive human resource roles
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Professional certification preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including, but not limited to; compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective laws
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position will provide daily management of three degreed professions; one HR Generalist and two HR Analysts
