The Head of Airbus Export Control is responsible for overseeing and promoting the Airbus Export Compliance Programme and ensuring it is implemented in a coherent and pragmatic way across the Group. In particular the Head of the Export Control Programme Office ensures that the key elements of the Airbus Export Control Programme are properly implemented. Ensuring that ITAR / EAR related requirements, aspects including classification is properly understood and applied across the Company is a key element of the Programme.
A vacancy for an Export Control Technical Data Loss Prevention Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus SAS. The successful applicant will join the Export Control Programme Office (LOPG) team.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to work as Technical Data Compliance Center Manager in the Global Export Control System (GECS) Programme in order to support the business applications inside the different divisions to manage all incidents detected by the Data Loss Prevention solutions and update the processes accordingly. The DLP Manager will oversee a team that works with stakeholders to establish and define data security enforcement policies, processes, and the appropriate use of technologies. In addition, the DLP Manager will work with key partners, to include Legal and other teams across the company, to document and implement key activities. These activities include triage and investigation, escalation of policy breaches and potential/actual instances of data leakage, monthly report production and quality control, maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Your challenges:
● Lead the Data Compliance Center (DCC) team, providing expertise, guidance, and advice to
the team in support of Airbus’ Data Compliance program.
● Provide the requirements to develop, implement, and maintain DLP
● Lead efforts to write and formalize the business requirements
● Collaborate with development team
● Maintain DLP policies and respond to associated events to ensure compliance with the
Airbus global information security policy
● Establish monitoring and incident response processes and workflows for DLP alerts
● Maintain a working relationship with the security operations center
● Partner with Privacy, Human Resources and Legal to ensure compliance with global
and regional regulatory requirements
● Develop an understanding of Airbus current and forward-looking data use requirements and
threats to improve the DLP Program
● Develop and present strategies to the DCC Steering Committee
● Advise on required rulesets and ruleset optimization
● Prepare monthly reports and dashboards, including trend and root cause analysis and
achievement against SLAs and KPIs
● Support audit reviews, as required, both internal and external, related to data loss
prevention.
● Protect valuable information and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of data through
knowledge of industry trends and current and emerging risks.
Your boarding pass:
● Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, information management
systems, or related field required.
● 3+ years of progressive IT (Information Technology) experience
● Software Requirement and change management
● Proven experience with cyber security technologies required
● Previous people management experience in leading a team of technical professionals,
ideally in a security operations environment.
● Strong team spirit, open and transparent communication
● Distinct problem solving mind-set and orientation
● Networking skills, ability to manage stakeholders even on a large and broad scope
● Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to simplify and engage
● Product Lifecycle Management
● Effective communication (verbal and written) skills
● Advanced level in English is expected
● Knowledge of agile work processes (SAFe), experience in lean processes would be a plus
● Knowledge of Export Control would be a significant advantage
