The Opportunity
Join the Jetstar CAMO Engineering Services team. This challenging Technical Records Officer role will highlight your attention to detail, highly developed analytical, and communication competence. Your motivation to work autonomously and within a group, will ensure your success in this high performing team.
We are seeking a bright and down to earth individual to join our team, in this 4 on 4 off shift rostered role. As a Technical Records Officer, you will have a strong ability to focus on detail and procedures supported by excellent communication and prioritisation skills. This is a challenging position, where the ability to work autonomously, and within a team is essential.
Reporting to the Technical Records Team Leader, key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support Technical Records team with all BAU duties
- Assist the Team Leader in collating data for reports as required and identifying process improvement opportunities
- Perform regular internal QA audits of maintenance data entered into TRAX
- Escalate complex issues which impact on the completion of component changes or compliance
- Review and monitor all data integrity reports to ensure items are actioned in a timely manner
- Training of new team members
- Stakeholder engagement and building of relationships with internal and external teams
- Provide Technical Records input and support for projects impacting the team
- Ensure all safety and regulatory compliance targets are achieved
- Be a Safety Leader within Jetstar’s CAMO
- Ensure compliance with safe working practices
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- Experience in Technical Records processing within aviation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite or software solutions
- Proven customer service skills – capable of identifying customer needs and resolving customer issues.
- Database maintenance and data tracking experience
- Experience with TRAX is essential.
- An ability to work a rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern consisting of 3 day shifts and 1 night shift (11 hour shifts, with the flexibility to adjust shift pattern depending on operational requirements)
- Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally if the business requires
