Role Introduction
Purpose
The successful candidate will be part of the Lifestyle team responsible for the growth and development of Cathay membership programme – Lifestyle Business Partnerships. Reporting to the Head of Lifestyle, the successful candidate will acquire new partners in South East Asia and work with both existing and new partners to understand their needs, and devise solutions to achieve business goals.

Business Strategy & Planning
- Support Head of Lifestyle to meet the agreed lifestyle objectives, support lifestyle priorities and achieve the lifestyle growth and revenue targets
- Monitor and review business performance to meet strategic growth plan
- Prepare and support internal budgeting and business reporting activities with business analytics and insights
- Initiate, design and lead promotional campaigns with marketing team and/ or business partners to achieve revenue targets
Lifestyle Partnerships
- Develop local partnerships under the key lifestyle pillars, including payment, holidays, shopping, wellness and dining according to the region’s lifestyle objective to provide a network of partners to engage Cathay members through accrual and redemption propositions
- Identify, negotiate and manage relationship with new and existing partners and support operational requirements including commercial term negotiation, partner enquiries, management of contractual discussion and technical integration issues
Redemption & Rewards
- Build awareness of usage of lifestyle redemption platforms including Cathay Shop and travel awards platform
- Work with relevant teams to support any local activities and set it up on the respective redemption platforms to drive members engagement or activation
Coordination with Local Team
- Work with local Cathay Pacific teams including digital sales, marketing and business development to expand Cathay’s travel and lifestyle propositions to local markets
- Be the function lead to support any partnership discussion or negotiation between potential partners and local Cathay Pacific team. Act as a catalyst to support any partnership conversation between HQ teams and local teams
Legal Compliance
- Work with legal team in headquarters and local legal counsel to operate the lifestyle business with compliance to local business and legal requirements, and facilitate the application of necessary licenses if needed
E&A
- Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Degree in business/ marketing or related discipline
- Minimum five years relevant experience in the field of business development, marketing or loyalty
- Prior experience in the financial institution industry such as banks or credit card business is preferred
- Mature, creative, and business minded, with excellent strategic thinking and communication skills
- Analytical, independent, and result-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and local language
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and conversant in Excel and PowerPoint applications
