Our Commercial Team is seeking a Junior Analyst to help drive data-driven decision-making and support our sales efforts. You will play a pivotal role in providing insights, analysis and presentations to support the growth and success of our team. You will work closely with senior analysts, sales managers, and various stakeholders to generate presentations, conduct analysis, and identify opportunities for revenue growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to kickstart their career in the field of commercial sales and analytics.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generating regular and ad-hoc analyses and presentations that provide insights into sales performance and KPIs for the sales team and senior management.
- Preparing visually compelling presentations
- Collaborating with the sales team to provide data-driven insights and support sales initiatives.
- Ensuring data integrity in customer relationship management (CRM) software to provide necessary information to the sales team.
- Identifying and recommending process improvements that can enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market segmentation to support sales strategies.
- Assisting in sales forecasting and budgeting processes to help set achievable sales targets.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI) will be useful but is not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and the capability to work accurately with numbers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.
