Tasks
As Data Science Delivery Team we drive the use of best-in-class data science for SWISS and the whole Lufthansa Group. Gain hands-on project management experience collaborating with experts in the field. Utilize your organizational and analytical skills to ensure project success and drive efficiency.
- Support the data project portfolio management to accelerate the delivery of data projects (e.g., admin, prioritization, coordination)
- Create constant awareness of data and data science in the company by engaging with support functions and stakeholders across the whole Lufthansa Group
- Participate in various data community events, conferences and data trainings
- Support and contribute to data science projects, gaining practical experience in tasks such as predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, and optimization under guidance of experts
- Analyze data to derive insights, creating visualizations and dashboards
- Thrive in and collaborate with a diverse team of experts across different locations within a flexible working environment (flexible hybrid working model)

Requirements
All you need is a passion for data and its application in the airline industry.
- HF diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s students or graduates in economics, business administration, mathematics, computer science or similar studies with focus on analytics
- (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters)
- Strategically thinking and understanding how analytical findings can be turned into benefits for customers, employees, group companies and the environment
- Analytical and conceptual mindset, creativity and ability to stay atop complex situations
- Basic knowledge with BI tools (e.g., Tableau), programming languages (e.g., Python) and Databases (e.g., SQL, Databricks)
- Motivated, reliable and team orientated personality with good communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Very good command of MS Office
