The role
As a Finance SAP Functional Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the functional support, analysis, configuration and continuous improvement of the SAP Finance and Project Systems.
Day to day, you’ll provide specialist level functional and configuration support for the SAP solutions in the Finance and Project Systems (Contract Mgt), modules of ECC 6 solution.
- Work with the Service Desk and the SAP team to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
- Work with SAP and third parties to resolve software bugs where applicable.
- Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for all Finance and Contract Management related processes.
- Understand the business processes for Finance and how the application supports the processes. Apply this knowledge to solve problems and deliver changes
Essential experience of the Finance SAP Functional Analyst
- Proven experience of hands-on SAP Finance and Project Systems configuration and support experience.
- Excellent understanding of business processes and integrations within SAP and Finance related solutions required to deliver the service.
- Integration experience with other SAP Modules/Solutions and Third-Party systems.
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Management of reporting and change programmes.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with occasional visits to Portsmouth.
Qualifications for the Finance SAP Functional Analyst
- A university degree or relevant experience in Finance or Information Management.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC (must be British Nationals) security clearance level for this role.
