OUR TEAM
As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose.
YOUR ROLE:
Join us as a Project Manager where you will be working on multiple support and strategic defence industry project deliverables on vehicle mounted platforms able to manage and liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Working at our Bendigo site, on Dja Dja Wurrung Land, your role purpose is to:
Establishing and updating project requirements baseline in a collaborative work with the Bids Team.
Execution of baseline (including project structure, work package description, patterns and supplier contractual data, management plants, costs, budgets and financial structure and resourced schedule).
Initialising the project right from identifying the key stakeholders, setting the project team, organising the project structuring activities, starts-up project activities and identifying and allocating the source project requirements and managing the financial aspects of the acquisition “Make or Buy” strategy.
Leading the project launch review and involve all stakeholders and executing, monitoring and controlling the project until its completion.
Effectively closing the project including archiving documents, closing expenditures and sharing enterprise experience (i.e. lessons learnt).
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
A formal IPMA, PMBOK or Prince 2 qualification would be highly preferred.
Proven experience in the management of projects involving design, development and production.
Experience and capabilities in managing budget, resources, schedule estimation and management and also the concepts, standards, systems and programs and the value they provide.
Good experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers.
Knowledge and experience with management tools including Primavera or similar would be helpful.
