As an Engineer Field Ops, your role will be to Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance to SITA’s standards
What you will do:
• Installation of our equipment, including monitors, wall and ceiling mounts, signs, racks, along with excellent cable management
• Efficiently learn new software, troubleshoot and repair LAN cabling and connected devices such as video monitors, LED and LCD displays, video controllers.
• Troubleshooting serial signal distributed computer display systems.
• Ability to use test equipment to troubleshoot digital hardware to a component level.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, inclusive of the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.
• Daily walk thru, throughout entire MCO airport. On your feet for much of the day.
Who you are:
• Minimum 1-3 years' experience desktop support.
• Must have dealt directly with external customers delivering to SLAs.
• Airline experience and/or ATI know-how, is good to have.
• Great customer service
• Degree or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate in Computer science Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Recognized Industry certification a plus (CISCO/ITIL/ Microsoft/VMware).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with the following: Microsoft Windows Operating System 10/ Break Fix experience with workstations, monitors
• Network basic troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and interpersonal communication.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to lift over 75 pounds, and the desire to provide first class service including off hour on call responsibilities.
• Work will require a non-standard work week. Weekend work will be part of a normal work week, occasional night time work will be required.
• Ability and comfort working off ladders & lifts.
