JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for carrying out avionics/electrical system installation and troubleshooting duties on experimental aircraft. Required to perform these duties in support of new product and sustaining aircraft designs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes routine aircraft modification and systems installation using Engineering drawings, work orders and oral or written instructions.
- Assists in troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments of aircraft AES systems.
- Operates hand and power equipment in the process of building, installing, and maintaining AES equipment.
- Services and prepares experimental aircraft for flight.
- Uses electrical measuring instruments for RF signals, power, and ground.
- Responsible only for own work.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION:
Broad training and fundamental skills for hands on avionics/electrical troubleshooting of aircraft systems preferred
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Aircraft avionics systems, troubleshooting and/or repair experience preferred.
High School education or equivalent is required. Technical degree/certification related to avionics/electrical systems preferred
- Broad training and fundamental skills for hands on avionics/electrical troubleshooting of aircraft systems required
