As a Marketing Manager Europe, your role will be to provide marketing and operational support to the Sales team in Central Europe. You will implement SITA’s integrated Marketing and Communications strategy to achieve its commercial and strategic objectives by prioritizing, managing and implementing territory marketing plan that aggressively drive and support the achievement of the revenue and growth objectives associated with CEU strategy.
What You Will Do
- Work with Central Europe sales team to evaluate customer needs and plan marketing activities accordingly;
- Develop an overall territory marketing strategy and vision in order to provide consistency and alignment of projects and strategic initiatives;
- Provide marketing leadership and drive the planning and execution of territory marketing plan. This includes PR, industry events organization, branding, advertising, customer forums, direct marketing campaigns, web-based activities, marketing intelligence and planning;
- Define, track and measure the impact of territory activities on sales results, drive achievement of key performance metrics which will ensure visibility of tangible value to sales & customer relationship management;
- Build customer success stories and gather information for media activity;
- Leverage diverse communication channels;
- Maintain or strengthen the integrity of SITA’s reputation brand and positioning actively managing brand compliance
- Support the Business’s relationship with industry associations
- Carry out analysis of customers to support account-based marketing plans
- Contribute to market and competitive intelligence and research
Who You Are
• Passionate about the role of marketing for technology in improving the travel experience
• University degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Business
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, event organization, PR preferably in preferably in telecommunications, IT, air transport, or travel industries
- Proven ability to contribute to the implementation of a marketing strategy
• Good experience in project management, including management of customer-facing events and meetings
• Experience with the use of CRM platforms to plan and execute marketing campaigns
• Experience with the latest communication tools and social media platforms - Highly independent self-starter with a hands-on approach and delivery focus
- Advanced skills in Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube), along with proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse and virtual teams
• Fluent in English; working knowledge of German a plus
