ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
We're looking for a talented M&A Integration Lead to lead the organization through major transformational events such as integrations and who has the skills to help realize the full value of each transaction from when the deal is signed through closing and beyond.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead cross-functional programs through a high impact and high-profile M&A integration initiative.
- Understand how the acquired company manages its business, where the competition is going and what the major trends in the respective industry are.
- Understand both companies’ historical and forecasted financial performance and how the combined entity will perform.
- Develop the integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and act as a champion of the vision of the integration and program management structure to create the drive needed to capture the value of the transaction.
- Focus the program on the most critical tasks and align all stakeholders with the deal objectives.
- Build and manage the integration budget and identify, track and capture synergies.
- Understand the priorities, operating needs and responsibilities of the different work streams, and anticipate, plan and solve for cross-functional interdependencies.
- Communicate goals and objectives to all stakeholders across all levels in the organization, including senior executives, steering committee and sometimes the board.
- Build cross-functional relationships and bridge the operations of different functions and business units underlying priorities of each function firsthand.
- Build out a critical path as well as must haves to pick out the smallest details or risks that could have a major impact on the integration.
EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of experience in leading teams to execute M&A integration Experience
- Strong Project Management experience, ideally with global or complex projects
- Background in finance and understanding of the business processes and functional areas
- Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Global or multi-national business experience preferred
- Experience from Air Transport Industry (ATI) is a plus
- German language is a plus
