Job Description:
·A&P Technician position is designated for the Global Jet program at the Tucson Business Aircraft Service Center.
·Will perform routine inspections, repairs, and modifications on customer aircraft.
·Will also complete inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification, and inspection packages, and troubleshoot aircraft systems.
·Ensure that all tasks assigned are completed and documented in accordance with manufacturer's manuals or other FAA approved data.
·Must apply knowledge of the use and research of numerous airframe manuals.
·Experience on business aircraft desired but not required.
·Perform repairs and modifications as required.
·Perform inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification, and inspection packages.
·Always advise supervisor / lead of job status.
·Maintain good housekeeping habits.
·Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
·Other duties may be assigned by supervisor/lead from time to time.
·Perform assigned work to establish standards and estimates routinely.
·Perform system functional tests as required by maintenance programs and logically diagnose malfunctions.
·Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints.
·FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates required.
·Minimum of 3 years of Global or Bombardier product aircraft experience.
·Work Environment: temperature-controlled facility on the south side of Tucson International Airport.
·Most candidates will be required to work swings, since most of the maintenance is done at night.
·The first week of employment will be spent in Bombardier's orientation class.
Pay:
·$30/hour – $45/hour
Work Schedule:
·1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 2:30pm
·2nd Shift: Monday –Friday: 2:30pm-11:00pm
Placement Options:
·Contract to Hire (6 months)
