JOB TITLEFlight Operations Executive Safety Training and Standards
DIRECT REPORTCabin Safety Training Manager (CSTM)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITYEnsure the Training Schedules quality and continuity of In-house/Joint Training is maintained at Airline Industry standards all year round and according to those stipulated by the company and statutory bodies
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Participate and uphold the safety and security policies and procedures in line with flight operations training and standards objective.
- Prepare training schedule/program according to the training types.
- Prepare minutes of meeting for all training-related meetings.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, updating ground training for crew members and flight dispatch as per CAD 6009 and CAGM 6009.
- Responsible for assigning instructors for ground training.
- Responsible for updating and reviewing the CCTM, TSDM and the teaching material/ equipment serviceability.
- Responsible for preparing, updating, and issuing the Crew Attestation to crew members and flight dispatcher.
- Participate in the on-going planning and execution of the training program.
- Production and distribution of all required training paperwork.
- Liaising with Crew Planning department to ensure the timely scheduling of all initial and recurrent training.
- Responsible to conduct the Training Monthly Meeting with the training team to check on the accuracy of planning before submission to the Crew Planning on the 5th of every month.
- Collect and verify training documents from ATO and update Crew Members training files/system.
- Prepare Training Bond Agreement and dissemination to cabin members and instructors.
- Assigning courses and attendees to TMS.
- Assist in conducting in-house training according to procedures.
- Monitoring crew member and instructor training qualification validity for regulatory trainings and maintain training progress report.
- Make reservations of accommodation, classrooms, and travel arrangement for crew members.
- Make reservation of aircraft for training from Engineering Department.
- Assist during training of practical drill/aircraft visit.
- Conduct flying duties as and when required by Flight Operations. (if applicable)
- Travelling to stations to assist training related matters.
- Any other tasks which may, from time to time be requested by Chief Pilot Training and Standards
- Responsible to take over the duties of Cabin Safety Training Manager during his absence.
QUALIFICATION & WORKING EXPERIENCE- Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in related discipline or Minimum 2 years’ experience in an airlines or aviation field.
- Preferably candidate with relevant experience.
- Good communication skills. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality with positive attitude. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate and well versed in Microsoft Office Applications (word, excel & power point).
- Possess own transport. Able to travel whenever required.
