Principal / Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team in in
Northridge, CA.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Security Manager, this position primarily serves as the Industrial Security Analysis for the DoD collateral programs. Will support the management and execution of program security as it applies to program protection and industrial security oversight for our DoD Industrial Security Programs
- Adhering to policies, practices, and procedures of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and implementing the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) 32_CFR, the company policies, practices, and procedures
- Physical Security - Understanding the principles of physical security to safeguard and protect DoD assets. Execute the physical security program, planning and implementation. Demonstrates the countermeasures and concepts of physical security
- Shall conduct security briefings and maintains security education programs. Knowledgeable with the use of Company and Government Data Bases; SIMS, DISS and NISS. Requires the ability to make sound decisions, manage time, take independent action, and provide focused solutions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications
- Transmission and process international import/exports for classified products. In addition, process incoming/outgoing Foreign Visit Request via DCSA International
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Industrial Security Analyst:
- High school diploma and 10 years of related security experience. Will consider a BA + 6 years of experience or a MA with 4 years of experience in related field.
- Must have a minimum DoD SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
- Fully proficient knowledge of a strong security program in compliance with the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4; National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense (DoD) Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Volume 1, DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual; General Procedures, 18 June 2015, Incorporating Change 1, Effective 12 February 2018 DoDM 5205.07, Volume 2, DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual; Personnel Security, 24 November, 2015, Incorporating Change 1, Effective 12 February 2018 DoDM 5205.07, Volume 3 & 4 DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual; Physical Security, 23 April 2015, Incorporating Change 2, 12 February 2018.
- Proficient in Communications Security (COMSEC) Manual NSA/CSS 3-16, Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), program specific Program Security Directives (PSD) and associated corporate and government policies and directives.
Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst:
- High school diploma and 14 years of related security experience. Will cons Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our team in Yorktown Virginia. This position is within the MK 48 Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA), which provides critical support to the US Navy's Atlantic Fleet. This is a Government facility that is comprised of a mixture of Contractor, Civil Service, and Military personnel. This Quality Analyst will perform duties of a Top Level Reviewer within the IMA in support of the Quality Department, ensuring that material provided to the fleet meet prescribed standards and Customer expectations. Our Team in Yorktown, Virginia is Customer focused, process driven, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Include
- Systematic verification of completed maintenance using a variety of data sources
- Comparing completed work to established requirements
- Certification of acceptable material
- Reporting of processing errors
- Conduct of Audits relating to processes, OQE, and Systems application
- Training development
- Training delivery
- Development of various reports
- Participation in analytic projects
- Must be disciplined to follow detailed instructions and comply with procedures
- Support continuous process improvement and innovation
- Ability to work occasional overtime to meet specific mission requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a High school Diploma or GED and 7+ years of Quality Engineering or Mission Assurance related work experience; Will consider a Bachelors Degree with 3 years of Quality Engineering or Mission Assurance related work experience; Or Masters degree with 1 year of Quality Engineering or Mission Assurance related experience.
- Ability to interpret and assess technical documentation
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and able to wear Steel Toe Shoes and other safety gear
- Ability to pass an Explosive Handler Physical
- Ability to obtain Arms and Ammunition Explosive Screening
- Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Access, and Word
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret security clearance
- Be physically located in Yorktown, VA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Assurance related work experience
- Prior manufacturing facility experience
- Prior Quality Assurance Inspector experience
- Practiced at continuous process improvement
- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Secret security clearance
- Ability to read and interpret flow diagrams and technical drawings
Salary Range: $65,500 - $98,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
