Executive, In-Flight Pricing & Billing
Reports To
Manager, In-Flight Pricing & Billing
Role Purpose
Responsible in the day-to-day activities including catering quotation evaluation, billing verifications, analysis of cost per pax (plan vs actual) and reporting, monitoring of invoices to ensure all costs are within budget, justifiable and initiate relevant audit enquiry to stakeholders.
Key Accountability
- Analyze catering food pricing and quotation submission based on menu specification from caterers against budget, historical pricings and contractual, in ensuring reasonable pricing allocation and fair Cost-Per-Passenger used for all flights.
- Maintain complete pricing submission from all caterers systemwide via In-Flight Catering Operations System is align with MAG governance and processes, conduct micro negotiation, pricing benchmarking to achieve competitive and the best pricing for the company.
- Responsible in reviewing menu specification including food ratio and grammage requirement, provide applicable pricing and Approved Price Menu Specification (APMS) to all caterers and ensure charges are adhere to the specification for all flights before invoicing and achieve billing accuracy, ultimately flight budget optimisation.
- Responsible for processing catering invoices i.e. meals, cabin handling, drystore, supplementary etc according to contractual terms and APMS with charges are as per acceptable order, contractual and approved rates without non-adherence breach.
- Responsible for preparations and consolidation of flight route catering expenditure, cost-benefit analysis and other financial evaluation/reports to provide useful management information. Carry out what-if analysis on product/supplier change to support decision making and products implementation, as well as adhoc assignments from time to time.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economic, Business Administration or any relevant field with 0-2 years working experience.

- Broad knowledge of airlines and company's standard, policies, procedures and knowledge of in-flight catering operations as well as financial operations.
- Analytical with attentive to details, innovative thinking with planning, organize and strong communication skills, meticulous in number and adaptable to technology.
