This is a key role within UOP to manage supply and production
across multiple sites in the global supply chain manufacturing network to
satisfy customer demand. The successful
candidate will lead supply planning for the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and
Operations Planning) process to identify gaps in the demand/supply balance
objective, recommend solutions, and reach consensus on manufactured volume
commitments. Must be capable to drive
collaboration with various stakeholders across integrated supply chain,
commercial and finance through optimizing the production plan and capacity
utilization to achieve service, OI, and inventory goals. You would be accountable for leveraging data,
analytics, and advanced planning tools to develop and enhance the supply plan
quality. The scope includes monthly
planning cycle for rolling 18-month period, annual budget planning for 1 year
horizon, and strategic planning for 3-year horizon. This role reports to the UOP Global Integrated
Supply Chain Planning Director.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead monthly SIOP supply planning process, including translation of demand plan into feasible supply and production plan requirements for finished good and intermediate products
- Plan production capacity to optimize performance and meet or exceed key performance metrics across network of manufacturing plants (i.e. revenue, margin, service, inventory)
- Develop and analyze supply plan scenarios using advanced linear program optimization tool(s)
- Identify and escalate constraints with appropriate functional leaders for resolution
- Manage and control inventory replenishment strategy for assigned materials, including target inventory levels and inventory optimization projects to support working capital initiatives
- Maintain accurate supply plans in the system of record (SAP)
- Evaluate and maintain accurate material master data for product portfolio across sites globally
- Monitor key metrics including supply plan adherence, and research, evaluate, and develop recommendations to address root cause and corrective actions to improve results
- Drive close coordination and alignment with commercial, detailed scheduling and logistics teams to assure successful execution of supply plan
YOU MUST HAVE
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (i.e. Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with supply chain planning, S&OP/SIOP, manufacturing, or related supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge and experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (SAP APO or similar) and MS Office suite including intermediate to advanced Excel

- Experience planning in a global business with chemical process manufacturing, complex portfolio and supply chain
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, data-driven decision making, and attention to detail

- Strong organization and relationship management skills
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS)
- Industry relevant certifications (i.e. APICS, LEAN, Six Sigma)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
