Job Description:
Airbus Commercial is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager of Services/MRO to join our Procurement Operations team within Defense and Space. This position is based in Herndon, VA.
This position is open to multiple locations: Herndon, VA, Atlanta, GA or Mobile, AL
In this role you will liaise daily with the supplier’s management and production staff, ensuring the alignment of all factors in order to achieve the required delivery (On Quality (OQ) / On Time (OT)) to Airbus. This will involve monitoring and reporting of activities and escalations where required.

Your challenges:
Demonstrable success in understanding production capacity, bottlenecks (pacing process), resource and supply chain issues
Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services
Monitoring, challenging and communicating (to relevant stakeholders) the supplier’s schedule status, risks status, opportunities and action status
Contribute to the annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED).
Demand and Missing parts management and implementation of recovery plan with Suppliers
Being the Voice (as well as eyes and ears) of the Customer, making sure that the customers’ requirements and needs are understood and communicated.
Perform Audits & Assessment in order to support the inspection and surveillance plan for all the Repair Centers located in the USA

Your boarding pass:
Undergraduate degree in Manufacturing and / or Engineering (Aerospace)
8+ years of experience within Supply Chain
Experience in aviation aftermarket or services a plus
Export control, logistics and repair activities preferred
Ability to travel 25% Domestic and International
Eligible for employment in the US
Spanish Fluent (advanced level)
